circle of lim’s products are the result of an artistic collaboration that combines the beauty of nature with the creative inspiration of perfumers. Following the traditions of aromatherapy, we aim to deliver the remarkable energy and inherent fragrance of various plants to people.
Both our natural perfumes and body care products are handcrafted in small batches, using only 100% plant-derived ingredients. We exclude animal-derived materials and petroleum-based substances, especially synthetic fragrances, dyes, phthalates, parabens, and synthetic preservatives. Instead, we incorporate natural ingredients such as plant-based ethanol, oils, and hydrosols, ensuring that our products are safe for everyone, regardless of age or gender.
The ingredients we use adhere to the following guidelines:

내추럴 향수와 바디케어 제품 모두 소량을 수작업으로 제작하며, 100% 식물에서 추출한 원료만을 사용합니다. 동물성 원료와 석유 유래 성분, 특히 합성 향료, 염료, 프탈레이트, 파라벤, 합성 보존제를 사용하지 않고, 대신 식물성 에탄올, 오일, 하이드로졸 등 내추럴 성분을 활용합니다. 이로써 남녀노소 누구나 안심하고 사용할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
저희가 사용하는 원료는 다음의 가이드라인을 따르고 있습니다:
- We use “plant-based natural” ingredients that meet the criteria of ISO 9235.
1-1. Essential oils extracted from plants through physical processes.
1-2. Absolutes and CO₂ extracts obtained from plants through solvent extraction.
1-3. Natural isolates fractionated from plant extracts. - When using natural-derived ingredients according to ISO 16128 standards, we limit their use to no more than 25% of the fragrance formula and 5% of the total ingredients.
- We incorporate biodegradable biotechnology-based ingredients derived from plant sugars, yeasts, and other plant-based sources through fermentation.
- All formulas strictly comply with IFRA regulations.
- We transparently disclose the composition ratio of fragrances, dividing them into essential oils, extracts/absolutes, natural isolates, and biotechnology-based ingredients.
- ISO 9235 기준에 부합하는 “식물성 천연” 원료를 사용합니다.

1-3. 식물 추출물을 분별 추출한 내추럴 아이솔레이트. - ISO 16128 기준에 따른 식물 유래 원료를 사용할 경우, 향기 포뮬러의 25% 이하, 전성분의 5% 이하로 사용합니다.
- 식물에서 유래한 당과 효모 등을 발효해 생산한 생분해성 바이오테크놀로지 성분을 사용합니다.
- 모든 포뮬러는 IFRA 규정을 철저히 준수합니다.
- 향료의 구성 비율을 에센셜 오일, 익스트랙트/앱솔루트, 내추럴 아이솔레이트, 바이오테크 성분으로 나누어 투명하게 공개합니다.
- We use only natural and natural-derived ingredients defined by the “Regulation on Standards for Natural and Organic Cosmetics” set by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of South Korea. To meet the standards for natural cosmetics, we ensure that over 95% of the total ingredients consist of natural substances.
- We use “plant-based natural” ingredients as fragrances, in accordance with ISO 9235 standards.
- We maintain a “natural index” of 95% or higher, following the calculation method of ISO 16128.
- We do not use animal-derived ingredients and only incorporate cruelty-free materials that are not tested on animals.
- 대한민국 식품의약품안전처의 “천연화장품 및 유기농화장품의 기준에 관한 규정”에서 정한 천연 원료 및 천연 유래 원료만을 사용하며, 천연 화장품의 기준에 부합하도록 천연 원료의 함량을 전체 성분의 95% 이상으로 구성합니다.
- ISO 9235의 기준에 부합하는 “식물성 천연” 원료를 향료로 사용합니다.
- ISO 16128의 계산법에 따른 화장품의 “천연지수”는 95% 이상으로 유지합니다.
- 동물성 원료를 사용하지 않으며 동물 실험을 하지 않는 (cruelty-free) 원료만 사용합니다.
